Thousands of sick and infirm people will throng to Pilar to be anointed with holy oil during the 4:00 pm novena mass of Venerable Fr Agnelo on November 17.

Fr Hilario Fernandes, Vice Postulator for the cause of the process of Canonization of Venerable Fr Agnelo, will offer special prayer to speed the process of healing during the mass. Over 40 priests and 8 deacons will be present for the anointing service. Special coupons are provided for the sick to attend the service. Coupons can be collected from Pilar.

Confessors will walk towards the sick to offer them the opportunity to celebrate the sacrament of reconciliation (confession) starting from 3:30 pm. There will be no mass at 5:15 pm on November 17.

Most Rev. Filipe Neri Ferrão, Archbishop-Patriarch of Goa and Daman, will preside over the Solemn High mass on November 20 at 9:30 am. The novena masses starting on November 11 will be held daily at 5.30, 6.45, 8.00, 9.15, 10.30 in the morning and 4.00, 5.15 & 6.15 (English) in the evening. At the end of every Mass there will be special prayers over the sick.

There will be a mass in Malayalam at 11:30 am on November 17. Rt. Rev Lawrence Pius Dorairaj, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Madras- Mylapore, Chennai will celebrate a mass in Tamil on November 20 at 12:15 pm.
