3rd December, 2011 (Saturday) Feast of St. Francis Xavier 

 

08.30:   Departure for Old Goa and visit to the Sound and Light Gallery "A Pilgrimage of the Heart" 

 

10.30:   His Excellency presides over the open-air Solemn Feast Mass of St. Francis Xavier and preaches in English on the theme of the Pastoral Year in the Archdiocese — "Covenant Between Human Beings and Creation: Divine Love's Manifestation"

 

16.30:   His Excellency proceeds to the Seminary of Our Lady, Saligao-Pileme and attends a short cultural programme put up by the seminarians and addresses and staff and the students of the Seminary.

 

4th December, 2011 (Sunday)

 

08.45:   H.E. proceeds to Santa Cruz Church and celebrates the Eucharist and addresses the parishioners in English. The theme of the Mass: "Called to prepare for the joyful coming of the Lord" 

 

11.00:   Cultural Programme in the Parish Hall, organized by the Parishioners.

 

15.30:      His Excellency proceeds to Pilar and visits the tomb where the remains of Ven. Fr. Agnelo de Sousa are venerated

 

16.00: H.E. presides at the Annual Seminary Day Programme and addresses the Seminarians and Members of the Society.

 

5th December, 2011 (Monday)

 

08.00:   His Excellency proceeds to the Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol and celebrates the Holy Eucharist with a short homily. The theme of the Mass is "Jesus comes to heal and recocile" 

 

13.15:     H.E. departs for the Airport, with a brief visit to the Sanctuary of the Blessed Joseph Vaz at Sancole.
