"Error about a quality of the person" -Rev. Dr.Rosario Oliveira defends his thesis

Fr. Rosario Oliveira hails from Tilamola, Quepem, Goa. After his primary schooling in Our Lady Mother of the Poor School, Tilamola, he completed the high school in Guardian Angel High School, Curchorrm, Goa. After S.S.C., he joined the Carmelite (OCD) and complete the Pre-University Course (XIIth Std) at Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar, Mangalore and later obtained B.A. Degree from Goa University.


He then joined the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman and completed the philosophical and theological studies at Rachol Seminary. He was ordained priest for the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman on 27th October 2000. He served in St. Andrew’s Parish, Vasco-da-Gama as an assistant and parochial administrator. He completed his Master’s Degree in Canon Law at St. Peter’s Pontifical Institute, Bangalore. He then worked in the Patriarchal Tribunal as a Defender of the Bond, Administrator of the Tribunal and as a Diocesan Judge. He defended his doctoral thesis on 09th June 2009 at Urbaniana University, Rome. At present he is the Judicial Vicar of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman.
