At a simple function during the workshop organized by the Diocesan Centre for Social Communications Media (DCSCM, Goa) for the Parish Bulletin Editors, “The Directory of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman” for the year 2010-2011 has been launched at Don Bosco Technical Institute, Fatorda, at the hands of Fr. Andrew Pereira, Parish Priest of Benaulim (St. John the Baptist Church) and Fr. Savio D’Souza, Assistant to the Parish Priest of Cansaulim Church.

The publication is available at the Instituto de N. Sra. de Piedade, Café Amor, Pauline Book & Media Centre, Pauline Media Centre, Diocesan Centre for Social Communications Media, Archbishop’s House in Panjim, Pauline Book and Media Centre and Liturgical Centre in Mapusa, Jivita Sondex and Kristu Kala Mandir at Old Goa, Lighthouse in Margão and Treasure House at Vasco da Gama.

This V edition of the Directory has features on the triple centenaries the Pastoral Letter refers to: III of death of Bl. Joseph Vaz, IV of the dedication of the Church of the Patriarchal Seminary of Rachol and V of the First Mass celebrated on the Goan soil, in addition to the fact file of the Archdiocese as well instruction how to sail through it as it is organized on a new pattern of projecting the parish as the basic unit.
