In a Circular addressed to Priests, Men and Women Religious and the Lay Faithful of this Archdiocese of Goa and Daman, H. E. the Archbishop-Patriarch, Most Rev. Filipe Neri Ferrão, expressed his joy for the election of a worthy successor of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI in the person of Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Buenos Aires, who took for himself the name of Francis.
